This T-shirt features the iconic Gokani Karahana (五瓜に唐花) crest of the Oda clan, one of the most influential warrior families in Japanese history. The emblem consists of five stylized melon (gourd) shapes surrounding a central Chinese-style flower, symbolizing unity, control, and imperial ambition.
The Oda clan rose from local daimyo to national power under the leadership of Oda Nobunaga, the ruthless and brilliant warlord who began the military unification of Japan. The crest was flown on Nobunaga’s banners during his famous campaigns, including the Battle of Okehazama (1560), where he crushed a much larger Imagawa army, and the Battle of Anegawa (1570) against the Azai and Asakura clans.
