This T-shirt showcases the distinctive Iga-ryū (伊賀流) ninja crest, known for its symmetrical, shield-like design incorporating stylized elements that resemble layered armor or symbolic characters. Though Iga ninja didn’t officially use kamon in the traditional samurai sense, this emblem is associated with the legendary covert warriors from Iga Province (modern-day Mie Prefecture).

The Iga ninja were famed for their superior training in stealth, survival, and infiltration. Their knowledge of the mountainous terrain gave them the perfect advantage in guerrilla warfare. The Iga-ryū became so feared and respected that even Oda Nobunaga launched a massive assault against them in 1581—known as the Tenshō Iga War, where they fiercely resisted his forces. Later, many Iga warriors served under Tokugawa Ieyasu, cementing their role in founding the Tokugawa Shogunate.
