The crest, known as "Uesugi Sasa Mon", depicts two symmetrical birds (often interpreted as swallows or plovers) surrounded by stylized bamboo leaves. This emblem is closely associated with the renowned daimyo Uesugi Kenshin, symbolizing resilience, virtue, and harmony.Uesugi Kenshin who fought against legendary daimyo Takeda Shingen druing the sengoku jidai. He was one of the most powerful daimyō of the Sengoku period. Known as the "Dragon of Echigo".Many of his followers and others believed him to be the avatar of Bishamonten, and called Kenshin the "God of War".
